For the brake bracket project, we got the plans for the brake bracket and had to make it. It was made using a combination of circles and lines. Extruding some circles and making holes out of others was most of making the bracket.
After I had it done in inventor, I had to get the file into Fusion 360. After having it in fusion 360, I had to set up the 3D adaptive tool path.
After having it set up in Fusion 360, I took it to the mill and cut it out. to cut it out I needed to move the drill bit to the bottom corner of the foam. Then I just had to let it run and wait for it to cut out.
After it was cut out, I needed to lazer engrave my name onto my brake bracket. I needed to do this through the vector engraving in illustrator. All I needed to do for that was have my name written in RGB blue in illustrator and lazer it onto my bracket.
What I learned from this rotation was how to use fusion to make 3D objects. I also learned how to set up and use the mill. I also got to relearn how to make a part based on the plans you can make in inventor. I also got to learn about the vector engraving with the lazer. Overall this was a cool project and I liked using fusion and the mill.
